Canine Nutritionist
Shay
Shay Kuehlmann BSc (Hons) Veterinary Bioscience, AMRSB; Level 5 Diploma in Canine Nutrition
My passion for nutrition began with my own dog, Bug, who lived to 17 years. His journey showed me the powerful role diet plays in health, inspiring me to pursue formal study with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Bioscience, I am a member of the Royal Society of Biology (AMRSB) and a Level 5 Diploma in Canine Nutrition.
With over eight years’ experience running a successful dog daycare, I have worked closely with dogs of every breed and life stage. This hands-on background, combined with my academic training, allows me to provide holistic advice that considers not only diet but also lifestyle and individual needs.
I specialise in Nutritional Consultations, helping owners make confident, evidence-based choices that support their dog’s long-term health and wellbeing. My approach is rooted in science but always practical, ensuring recommendations fit with real-life routines.
Alongside consultations, I created the Organic Dog Kitchen range of products, each developed to the highest nutritional standards to complement balanced feeding plans. My aim is to make nutrition accessible, effective, and tailored — giving every dog the best chance of a healthier,
happier life.
